Sacred Roots: A Muslim Community is pleased to announce the 1st annual Horizons Conference: a two-day (virtual) community building initiative focused on exploring key issues related to cultivating the Muslim community in the United States.
We invite you to join us on Saturday and Sunday, August 15th and 16th, to learn from a variety of activists and educators and engage them through conversation and Q&A modules. Registration is free but is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In addition to the panels which are the backbone to the conference, we also have two special sessions centered on culture: one on Coffee (The Art and Ethics of Coffee)- including an interactive coffee brewing tutorial- and another on Food (Comfort Food: Cultural Nourishment).

Preferably whole bean if you have a burr grinder at home. Otherwise pre-ground as close to the date of use as possible at the local coffee shop
