Call on God II: Weekday Mini-Workshop on Prayer (Ṣalāh)

  • Sacred Roots Muslim Community 1758 West 21st Place Chicago, IL, 60608 United States (map)

The formal prayer, al-Ṣalāh, is the central practice in Muslim life. Join us to explore Ṣalāh’s spiritual meaning, purposes, and benefits as well as the foundational rules that give it definition and meaning.

We will have an additional mini-workshops on topics related to Prayer on October 30th.

Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and maintain the prayer. Indeed the prayer prevents indecencies and wrongs, and the remembrance of God is surely greater. And God knows whatever you do.
