Chai Chat: Readings and Discussions on Social Spirituality - Dr. Chittick's "A Vanishing Heritage"

An interactive gathering wherein we explore contemporary social concerns and other issues that have implications for our spiritual and communal cultivation.

We invite you to read ahead of time, join us with your favourite tea or coffee, and engage in critical and constructive conversation.

For June 29th we will read and discuss William Chittick’s “A Vanishing Heritage” from his Science of the Cosmos, Science of the Soul: The Pertinence of Islamic Cosmology in the Modern World. We’ll examine issues related to the Islamic intellectual tradition, education, and what he terms “the gods of modernity.”

Access the chapter via the Reading Resources Folder.
