“While we make our media, our media make us.”

How does Mass Media shape us? Is Mass Media neutral—in terms of spiritual outlook, material worldview, politics? If not, who or what shapes the messages and toward what ends? Is there an alternative way of thinking about media and/or the culture it replaced/replaces?

We will explore the question of the media and how it affects us through a communal discussion with some presented thoughts on the nature of the system of news propaganda and the role of the market/commercialism in shaping both the media and the masses.
