Our Educators: coming soon
Framework: The topics are built around three stages of challenges
transformation – the initial stages of shifting to a new religious and moral universe
growth – the life-long stage of religious learning, spiritual practice, and community socialization
synthesis – when the individual makes Islam an effective filter through which one’s personality, inclinations, and culture are purified but not abandoned.
Discussion Topics will include:
∙ family struggles ∙ the dynamic between culture and religion ∙ alienation in sacred spaces ∙ fully integrating Islam ∙ raising the children of converts ∙ future capacity building
We hope to share our final agenda after receiving applications and tailoring our program to our participants’ needs.
